Odysseus! how goes Project Apollo?

How goes the Herculean project to improve my fitness and general all round Demigod-ness? Legend has that Hercules took 12 years to complete his Labours (killing hydras, lions etc), I’m beginning to suspect mine may be of similar epic length.
In truth, cliched as it is, it’s about the journey, not necessarily the ending. It’s about small steps — like finally going for runs again in the evening even though I’m “busy” and basically just not eating as much. You only realise how much unnecessary food you were eating when you make a conscious effort to stop snacking between meals.
“Of all creatures that breathe and move upon the earth, nothing is bred that is weaker than man.” — Homer’s Odyssey
I’ve realised aswell though that Project Apollo isn’t just about food or exercise, it’s about general goal setting and trying to accomplish more than what’s achievable in my day job. I see it as all being related — putting in an extra hour’s work at nightime to finish a tutorial on my website is for the same reasons as I make myself run 5K on a cold Saturday morning.
Is it working? I think so — I feel like I have more energy, Atlas is holding up a slightly less heavy world (the scales being Atlas and me being the world) and I’m getting s*** done on my website and app. If I went to holidays in Athens would the locals be dropping to the knees and proclaiming “They have returned! From Olympus!” ? Em, not yet! But I’m working on it!
